New to town, or just never kept track? Wingham’s year has a rhythm worth knowing.
The Summertime Rodeo kicks things off in early January at the showground. Autumn brings the Wingham Show, and mid-May is Beef Week, a week of cattle, education and competition that draws schools and studs from across the state. June adds a Scottish flavour with the Bonnie Wingham Festival, October fills the showground with the volunteer-run Akoostik music festival, and the campdraft rounds out November.
Underneath it all, every Saturday morning, the farmers market at the showground since 2003. Dates for each event are set by their organisers; check the directory for links.
